Liz Shea
Liz joined the SC Museum Development Trust in 2025 and comes with experience in historical and genealogy matters. She is chair of the SC Genealogy Society and actively promotes their work with the latest project focusing on WW2. Before retirement, she was CEO for the Community Trust of Mid and South Canterbury and is currently working for Food Rescue Aoraki along with volunteer time at SC Citizens Advice Bureau.
Liz has lived in Timaru since the 1970s and is keen to ensure the history of the SC region is preserved for future generations.
