Christopher Templeton
Christopher was born and raised in Invercargill, and moved to Timaru to train as an organ builder. Having gone into the South Canterbury Museum to ask a question he has been hanging around the Museum ever since – finding answers and more questions, and watching others deepen their ties to South Canterbury through a museum exhibit or a connection found in the archives.
Along with the Museum, he finds it encouraging that groups like the Timaru Civic Trust and the South Canterbury Historical Society are preserving and presenting the history of South Canterbury to the next generation.
